Ryugon - Minami Uonuma

Surrounded by vast Japanese gardens that change colours each season, Ryugon provides traditional Japanese-style accommodation housed in historic buildings, some originally built in the 17th century. It boasts large hot spring baths and a lounge room with a Japanese hearth. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby.

Featuring a seating area looking out to the garden, rooms are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. Facilities like flat-screen TV and an electric kettle are provided. Guests can unwind with yukata robes on and sip green tea.

Japanese dinner with local ingredients and specialities is served in the guest room. Rice is cooked in a traditional way with an iron pot.
