Red Gate Lodge, offering ski-inski-out access, is located in Kijimadaira. Iiyama Station is approximately a 25-minute drive away, and Nagano Station is about a 60-minute drive.

The surrounding area is home to many sightseeing spots that can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons, making it an ideal location for travelers interested in nature, hot springs, and winter sports. From spring to summer, guests can enjoy activities such as fishing and barbecues, while skiing is available in winter. Ski storage space is also available on site.
Regarding parking, private parking is available off site during the winter season, while on-site private parking is available in spring and summer.
Ryuoo Ski Park is approximately a 30-minute drive away, while Togari Onsen Ski Resort and Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort can be reached within about 35 minutes by car. Maguse Onsen and Yomase Onsen are also about a 25-minute drive away. In addition, many guests stay with us for sightseeing trips to Jigokudani Monkey Park (Snow Monkey Park).
The ski resort located directly in front of the lodge is called Snow Resort Cupid of Romance, named after the god of romance and love.
